One week is not enough. There were too many unseen circumstances that prevented my personal handyman and his assistant (FIL) from finishing the project on time. Partly because of the intricacies of the plan. The deck will have three levels - the first level will have a BBQ grill and a lounging chair. We'll put a patio set in the second lower level, then the third level will be for lounging again.
Hubby and I are good candidates for a reality home makeover show. The clash we had while discussing the design of the deck is similar to clashes of some couples in Amazing Race. Needless to say, all is well. We agree that we came out with a blueprint that is both excellent in aesthetic and structure design.
Hopefully, everything will be done in two weeks time.

Meanwhile, four hunks came and installed our 21 ft. wide 'batya'. Never thought that watching pool installation can be so yummy....hehehehe...(*wink).
In between building the deck, my own hunk takes time to cool off with our water-addict baby. Her screams of delight as soon as she jumps in the pool are priceless.
