Monday agenda of a multi-tasking work-at-home Mom.
7:13 - check clock. still early...go back to snoozeland.
8:00 - uh...ahh..uh...bebe S is awake and calling... as soon as she saw mommy, she clapped her hands and reached out to be picked up from the crib. 'ata! ata!' meaning she's hungry and wants to eat.
8:10 - bebe S is guzzling her milk (6 ounces)..while mommy is holding the bottle half asleep.
8:30 - bebe S and mommy in the basement home office. while mommy is booting up the office laptop and home pc, bebe S is sitting cozily in mommy's lap watching. read emails and internet news.
9:00 - 'ata! ata!'...ok..time for bebe S's petit dejeuner (breakfast).
9:10 - feed bebe S with a cup of mixed cereals and 1/3 cup of apple sauce.
9:30 - client is calling. time to go to work.
- poopoo alert! daddy took over bcoz mommy is busy working.
10:00 - turned on the tv and dvd for bebe S's daily dose of baby einstein.
10:30 - mommy = (to daddy)'could u please rock bebe S for her morning nap'.
- daddy = 'ok....could i have a strawberry smoothie for breakfast?'
- mommy = 'sure'
10:45 - make smoothie for daddy S.
11:00 - bebe S wants to play...not ready for a nap.
- while keeping an eye on bebe S, mommy is solving client's problem.
- eat breakfast (a burrito and a cup of coffee).
11:30 - ok...time for bebe S's nap.
11:35 - bebe S is in dreamland.
11:40 - load dirty clothes in the washes.
11:45 - cook bebe S's lunch...rice soup.
12:00 - answer work emails.
12:15 - call sister J...blah! blah! blah!
12:30 - bebe S is awake.
12:45 - feed bebe S. she likes the rice soup! yehey! mommy is happy.
13:15 - bebe S wants to walk.
- mommy teaches bebe S sheep's lingo.
- mommy = 'beeeeee'
- bebe S= 'mmmmmmm'
13:30 - client is calling...back to work.
14:00 - bebe S wants to walk.
14:30 - time for baby einstein.
- feed bebe S with biscuits and 3 oz. of milk.
14:45 - work with client.
15:00 - change nappy.
- time for bebe S's nap.
15:05 - client is calling.
15:10 - bebe S is not ready for a nap.
15:15 - back to baby einstein.
- mommy threw the washed clothes in the dryer.
- eat lunch while working.
15:20 - bebe S is getting cranky. she wants mommy to sit beside her while watching baby einstein.
15:22 - daddy S takes bebe S to her room for a nap.
15:30 - no such luck. bebe S doesn't want to take a nap.
16:00 - grampapa to the rescue. he arrives to take bebe S for a walk in the neighborhood.
- watch Oprah while working. :-)
17:00 - Grampapa and bebe S come back from their promenade.
17:15 - gave bebe S yogourt.
- log off from the virtual office.
17:30 - load another batch of dirty clothes in the washer.
17:45 - prepare dinner.
18:00 - unload clean dishes from the dishwasher.
18:15 - load dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
- clean up the sink.
18:30 - play with bebe S.
18:45 - prepare bebe S's dinner.
19:00 - feed bebe S.
- dinner is ready.
19:30 - eat dinner.
20:00 - start ironing. daddy took over the duty of playing with bebe S, give her a bath and put her to bed.
21:00 - still ironing.
22:00 - another load in the washer and dryer.
23:00 - it never ends....
23:30 - fudge it...the last load will be done tomorrow.
